Time for a Fresh Start

Hello little world and WELCOME to our (or my) new blog!

I am absolutely thrilled and so excited about starting this gem. If you followed my old blog, Love Mint Chocolate Chip, you know I took a major back seat and hardly ever blogged at all the past year or so.

To be honest, I couldn't quite figure out exactly what I wanted to blog about. I couldn't find a niche anymore.

But here on "It's a Snow Life"-- I hope to make this a lifestyle blog following Parker and I as we figure out life together as newlyweds, a couple recipes, lots of foodie goodness, maybe some DIY jazz thrown in and a whole lot of talk about my fur babies (yes, now that we are married we have THREE). Basically, a bunch of random and sporadic posts.

Blogging is such a fun hobby and outlet for me, and I am REALLY excited to dive back into it with a whole new approach! As with my old blog, I will keep it positive and lighthearted, leaving out any and all private details (our life isn't very interesting anyways).

Sooo... let's back up shall we?

If you followed me on my other blog, you know I left my job in West Texas as a reporter/ weekend anchor at KAMC News. It was so hard for me to leave, and I still miss the station, my boss and my friends every. single. day.

BUT, all worth it because I moved home for the summer to help mom plan our WEDDING!!

On August 2nd, Parker and I finally tied the knot.

Last November, Parker moved to Savannah, GA to work for a medical sales company, bought a house and I moved here 3 weeks ago. {Hehe sorry for the pic, P it was all I had of your job :)}

I still keep pinching myself! We both keep saying it hasn't hit us yet that we are married. I have a husband?! I am a wife?! WHAT!!

Our entire wedding weekend was a complete magical fairy tale. The only word we can even think of to describe it is: humbling. And we must have said this one gazillion times throughout the weekend. Looking back, both Parker and I just feel so overwhelmingly loved. I can't hardly wait to get our pictures back so I can blow you up with 900,000 posts to show you and tell you every detail.

And as amazing as the wedding was, being married is a complete dream. Since you know, 3 weeks in I am a total pro ;). But seriously, after being long distance for 5 years-- I love getting to hang in person with my bestie every day.

Anyways, I'm still working on getting things going and our pages updated. But I was so eager to get this post out to the internet world!!
